It’s been a busy few weeks here at Bohemiacademia, with a lot of writing going on. It looks like one of our clients is about to shift into a slightly different area of business, which will give us a different slant to work on, which is never a bad thing. But it will mean moving things around a bit, and that’s never the easiest time to oversee, so I for one am having a fairly stress-packed fortnight. Happily I spent the weekend hiding away from the world not looking at the internet, and hanging out with my cat instead. It was bliss.
But now it’s Monday, and I’m back in the office and back to the real world.
If you’re new here: Hi, I’m Scar, Founder & CEO here at Bohemiacademia. I do a whole bunch of things, including working from our Kensington office a couple of days a week.
Here’s what the team has been up to this week.
Our writers have been working away in the background, as always. Liz in particular has been busy on a mammoth task writing about healthcare all around the world. Other topics we’ve written about this week include:
- How to juggle work and childcare when you’re living abroad
- How to make friends when you’ve recently moved abroad
- The school system in Ecuador
- How to find a job in Croatia
- Relative rates of crime across Latin America
- Property purchase procedures in various European countries
- Coworking in London
- Music festivals for the rest of 2019
- International banking
- Working in digital forensics
Over on social media, I’ve been working on some minor changes to our Facebook strategy to make it even more effective for our clients – we now manage over 200 pages, profiles and groups. There’s a team of five people who work for our Facebook clients, and we always have room to add more to our portfolio!
We’ve also been keeping our clients’ Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn accounts up to date, and next week is reporting week, so I’ll be spending some time towards the end of this week collating all the work the team send to me and preparing to discuss it with our clients on Monday.
There’s always room for more! Leave a comment below, or drop us a line to commission a project or get a quote.
